Central Park Pond Swallows City Truck for 2nd Time This Year
For the second time in less than a year, a city Parks Department pickup truck sank in Central Park’s Iroquois Pond. The truck fell through the ice at about 6:30 this morning. A similar incident happened in late January 2008, Truck was clearing snow for skaters.
