Diggers are Utopian Communists!
Diggers, also known as “True Levellers,” were an English utopian group begun in 1649. Believing in economic equality, Diggers attempted to reform (by “levelling” real property) the existing social order with an agrarian lifestyle based upon their ideas for the creation of small egalitarian rural communities.
