Mac users will get their first taste of a Google-developed alternative to incumbent browsers such as Safari and Firefox when the search giant releases Chrome for Mac sometime during the “first half” of this year.

With a brand new, more widely available Windows 7 beta now flooding the internets, there’s no doubt quite a few more folks ready to give it a try themselves and, naturally, some have already done just that. Thankfully, there’s also some how-tos starting to pop up, and it looks like the entire process is relatively painless …….

The United States is the number one per capita consumer of corn in the world. Don’t recall stuffing your face with thousands of ears of corn last year? As expounded in The Omnivore’s Dilemma, King Corn, and Super Size Me, high fructose corn syrup and other derivatives work their way into everything from Wonder Bread to Big Macs.

The Consumer Electronics Association has confirmed plans to host a Mac-centric area at CES 2010, but Apple has still not commented on whether it plans to participate.
