The Palestinian Center for Human Rights released a final tally of the casualties of the 23-day war in Gaza. They way 1284 Gazans were killed and 4336 were wounded, the vast majority civilians. Israel says these numbers are inflated. The two sides disagree on the death toll, particularly the ratio of combatants and civilians.
